We Love Football at the Dall’Ara stadium

It was March 31st, at 12:30 pm at the Dall’Ara Stadium, the lunch match of the 30th matchday of Serie A Bologna – Rome was staged.

For We Love Football that was a memorable day: Marco De Marchi and a delegation composed of various players and coaches taking part in the third edition of several teams were the protagonists of the pre-race. Former Bologna FC ex-captain De Marchi, as well as president of the “Amici di We Love Football” social promotion association, went under the curve to receive the applause and affection of the rossoblù fans as always happens, but not only , that morning We Love Football shared with the 25 thousand of Dall’Ara the spirit and the positive ideas that it knows how to spread.

It has been explained what really represents our reality and how important it can be to promote it and support it. Applause from all over the stadium and the impression that at least one sign has been left behind. And thinking about it now, that the championship is over, that same stadium is quietly waiting for a new season to start again with the hope that it will be full of emotions.

Hopes, goals and projects like for Bologna FC for We Love Football. Not even the time to stop thinking about how beautiful the third edition was that you are already starting to concretely build the fourth. Marco De Marchi is in fact already in full organization for the 2019 edition: absolute novelties, international agreements and contacts with the teams to be defined.
We Love Football is a project that never stops, every day new ideas are created and developed with one goal: to promote all that is positive about football.

Work in progress! Stay tuned!

We Love Football 2018, an endless game

Even the third edition is over, how many steps forward from 2016 to today: technique, competitive spirit and above all fun

Triple whistle, the referee Fabbri of Ravenna officially sanctioned the end of We Love Football 2018, after Atletico Madrid and Atalanta the roll of gold is also tinged with green: the Brazilians of Palmeiras win the third edition of the most prestigious tournament Under 15 world football from unbeaten. However, it is not just a victory for the “Verdao” but this year it was a victory for football. Cup raised to the sky, ritual photos and festivities but after all this there has absolutely stopped, indeed. The synthesis of the third edition can be found paradoxically after the end of the final, when everything seems finished, when everything should stop, the football reminds you that being the most beautiful sport in the world an end will never have, and then football in the field and the Dutch dell’Ajax, the English Everton, the Canadians of Montreal, the Brazilians of Flamengo and even the organizational staff of WeLoveFootball ran all together on the green lawn of the Dall’Ara and began an epochal match that will remain without doubt in the history of this tournament, with only one rule, have fun! Yet you wonder how they can communicate Dutch-English-Brazilian-Belgian and Italian among them, the answer is simple, the language known by everyone is that of the ball. A melting pot of cultures, traditions and colors theoretically impossible to unite has given us indescribable emotions, which only this sport, which knows little about it, could have given us. Here all this is We Love Football: uniting what seems to be impossible, fun, football and lightheartedness. Friendship, a countless number of friendships established in recent days, an image that will remain etched in our eyes is the exchange of telephone numbers between the Coach of Montreal and that of Genk, which at the time of goodbye have embraced as they were always friends. But situations like this where football becomes more than a sport at We Love Football is an incalculable amount: the pasillo de honor of Palmeiras and the applause for the defeated atalantini in the final, the coach dell’Atalanta Di Cintio who apologizes to the Ajax Wooter Coach for a hard contrast between two players in the field and after the match the hug, the songs, the dances, the prayers, the hopes, the ambitions and the passion for football, inexhaustible. Because while every second passes for better or for worse it is always necessary to remember that in a part of the world a football match is under way and every time a football game starts all this magic starts all over again. A triple final whistle will never be there.

See you next year for We Love Football 2019!

First day – We love Football, it’s a rain of goals

We love football, it’s a rain of goals

The first day of the third edition of We Love Football was a concentration of emotions. Winning debut for Palmeiras, Bologna, Atalanta and B Italia. And the Genk surprises Juventus

GIRONE A

Bologna-Everton 3-1

BOLOGNA: Ruggiu, Cavina, Panariello, Obaretin, Vanzo, Marenco, Biondelli, Mantovani, Dimitrijevic, Bovo, D’Errico. A disp.: Grimandi, Lami, Caprino, Cinelli, Luccarini, Nico, Spinella. All.: Francesco Morara

EVERTON: Rose, Capps, Small, Welch, Hagan, Butterfield, Preidt, Dobbin, Price, Ferguson, Coppack. A disp.: Whitaker, Mclachlan, Jones, Clarcke, Campbell. All.: Lewis Nightingale

Goals: 28′ pt Marenco (B), 5′ st Dobbin (E), 19′ st Mantovani (B), 24′ st Lami (B)

A beautiful Bologna has not left Everton escape. The rossoblù of Morara have made a good match, three goals and a nice game to watch. The result was a pleasant match, especially in the second half of 3 goals. In the first half came the advantage of Marenco who made the rossoblù cheer. At the beginning resumed Dobbin (best in the field along with Spinella of Bologna, decisive with his flashes on the wing) for the illusory 1-1. Colled the same, the strength of the Bolognese came out in an irrepressible manner. First Mantovani for 2-1, then Lami has closed the accounts for the final 3-1 home. There could not be a first improvement for Bologna.

Inter-Lokomotiva Zagabria 4-1 (lokomotiva o lokomotive?)

INTER: Magri, Chierichetti, Pozzi, Peruchetti R., Uccellini, Gasparini, Paccagnan, Fabbian, Pezzini, Pucci, La Torre. A disp.: Priori, Lonati, Peruchetti L., De Milato, Branzini, Sabia, Politi. All.: Paolo Annoni

LOKOMOTIVA ZAGABRIA: Vincelj, Cabrajic, Maric, Vujnovic, Kruslin, Speljak, Simic, Islic, Capan, Vranjesevic, Matijevic. A disp.: Smakaj, Kacavenda, Milicic, Karkovic, Brajkovic, Capan, Stojkovic. All.: Zeljco Dacer

Goals: 9′ La Torre (I), 20′ Fabbian (I), 10′ st La Torre (I), 23′ st Politi (I), 31′ st Speljak (L)

Two goals on time allowed Inter to win the game that marked the beginning of the We Love Football adventure. The Nerazzurri were overflowing throughout the match. Zagreb tried to resist the Italian team, but there was nothing to do. Nice game, lots of interesting storylines and a player like La Torre able to make the difference and put a double in the opponent’s goal. In the first half La Torre unlocked it, imitated eleven minutes later by Fabbian. In the second half, La Torre (best in the field) and then Politi rounded off the result, while for the Slavs he scored Speljak in the recovery with a tap-in from a few steps.

GIRONE B

B Italia-Shonan Bellmare 3-0

B ITALIA: Milan, Turicchia, Vaglica, Casadei, Zaghini, Moracchioli, Belluomini, Pietra, Pescicolo, Logrieco, Totaro. A disp.: Lucatelli, Cellamare, Simonetto, Palmentieri, Degli Innocenti, Ferrari, Capasso, Grechi. All.: Massimo Piscedda

SHONAN BELLMARE: Odagiri, Ishikawa, Asano, Iwanaga, Takahashi, Inui, Imamichi, Inoue, Saito, Saliou Diop, Kasai. A disp.: Yano, Goto, Murakami, Ohta, Yamada, Noda, Sasaki, Nobuta, Matsuoka, Kawai. All.: Nakamaru

Goals: 12′ Belluomini (B), 20′ Vaglica (B), 10′ st Totaro (B)

The debut of the Japanese team of Shonan Bellmare was not lucky. The boys of Nakamaru slammed against the strength of B Italy. The azzurrini have imposed with a dry 3-0 that has not left escape for the guests. Race practically closed after 20 minutes with the goals of Belluomini and Vaglica. In the second half Totaro has signed the trio.

Flamengo-Roma 1-1

FLAMENGO: Esmeiro Candido, Thomas De Souza, Damasceno Dos Santos, Brum, Santos Pereira Dias Sacramento, Dos Santos Lopes Da Silva, De Oliveira Batista, Campos Botelho Nazareth, Emanuel Ataide de Araujo, Luka Cordeiro de Souza, Da Cruz Oliveira. A disp.: Jectan Lira Da Costa, Gibaldi Ribeiro, Firmino Dos Santos, Rodrigo Felix Laurentino, Gomes Silva, De Almeida Rego, Da Silva Checa. All.: Mario Jorge Dos Santos Silva

ROMA: Berti, Anticoli, Bruno, Diaby, Dicorato, Evangelisti, Koffi, Nobile, Piccolelli, Rossi, Tueto Fotso. A disp.: Cantarelli, Ludovici, Mancino, Poverini, Pagano, Rocchetti, Scarno, Scandurra, Sigismondo. All.: Mauro Fattori

Goals: 1′ st Campos Botelho Nazareth (F), 26′ st Rossi (R)

On the opening day, the only match to finish in a tie was between Flamengo and Roma. A pleasant meeting, with flashes of good football between the two teams that have different game philosophies. The carioca are more spectacular, while the Italians have paid more attention to the problem. Only by coincidence, the first half ended in white nets. At the beginning of the restart Campos Botelho Nazareth has unblocked who took the Giallorossi defense by surprise. The Brazilians have failed to double, then the capitolini have grown and Rossi has set the score on 1-1. The first X of this third edition is served. There could have been more goals, but football is also this.

GIRONE C

Genk-Juventus 3-1

GENK: Aerts, Van Gorp, El Taibi, Beerten, Rommens, Dwomoh, Gosselain, Swerts, Krawcyk, Oyen, Radi. A disp.: Abid, Guler, Geboers, Goosens, Dierckx, Chambaere, Stevens. All.: Peter Reynders

JUVENTUS: Oliveto, Mulazzi, Mauro, Salducco, Giorgi, Pisapia, Petronelli, Fiumanò, Giorcelli, Lofrano, Ferraris. A disp.: Carotenuto, saio, Bonetti, Bevilacqua, Rastrelli, Savona. All.: Riccardo Bovo

Goals: 4′ st Krawczyck (G), 10′ st Bonetti (J), 22′ st Dierckx (G), 25′ st Krawczyck (G)

It is probably the most surprising result of the first day. The Genk, however, is a club that is growing at all levels and is able to send in the field always competitive formations. The Belgians managed to beat Torino’s bianconeri in a comeback. After a first fraction in balance, at the beginning of recovery comes in Krawczyck’s goal, good to weaken the resistance of Oliveto. Juve reacts and thinks Bonetti to stamp the 1-1. Here the race becomes increasingly fought, and it is the Belgians who find the way to victory. The new advantage is Dierckx. Shortly after Krawczyck closed the race by signing his personal double.

Palmeiras-Sassuolo 3-2

PALMEIRAS: Martins, Alves Dos Santos, Da Silva Valerio, Francisco Dos Santos, De Barros, Dos Anjos, Santana, Do Nascimento Silva, Rodrigues, Maciel, Furtado Gondim. A disp.: Rosa, Santos Filho, Rodrigues Santos, Freitas, Ricardo Dos Santos, Silva, Miranda. All.: Luca Pereira De Andrade

SASSUOLO: Zacchi, De Toffol, Lazzaretti, Barbetta, Giordano, Mata, Ferrara, Casolari, Iodice, Xhuvelaj, Nacciaretti. A disp.: Bruno, Cehu, Arcopinto, Lombardo, De Battisti, Grillenzoni, Barbieri. All.: Francesco Turrini

Goals: 9′ Mata (S), 11′ Rodrigues (P), 14′ Da Silva Valerio (P), 8′ st  Casolari(S), 18′ Rodrigues (P)

One of the most beautiful meetings of all time. Five networks and a lot of spectacle. At the end the Palmeiras came up for 3-2, Sassuolo went ko. The ceramic training had gone ahead with Mata, but then within 3 minutes Rodrigues and Da Silva thought to overturn the score with which he went to the interval. In the second half Casolari made the 2-2, before Rodrigues put the final 3-2 carioca.

GIRONE D

Ajax-Sampdoria 4-0

AJAX: Van den Heuvel, Rensch, Dakriet, Misidjan, Regeer, Campagne, Yah Gibson, Karahasanovic, Braspenning, Hoogerwerf, Bonnah. A disp.: De Graaff, Oostwoud, Enem Jay, Markelo, Achemlal, Quaedvlieg, Camara, Mukeh. All.: Nordin Sibadich, Wooter

SAMPDORIA: Rossi, Campaner, Chiarlone, Fontanarosa, Migliardi, Marra, Canovi, Dolcini, Paoletti, Donato, Peidicillo. A disp.: Ravera, Tommasi, Chiodi, Mozzati, Fabbrucci, Malagrida, Riccio, Sanguineti, Spagnulo. All.: Massimo Augusto

Goals: 3′ e 9′ Braspenning (A), 1′ st Bonnah (A), 22′ st Markelo (A)

Two beautiful reality compared. One of the best Italian schools, against the philosophy of total Dutch football. That Ajax that churns out talents every year. A game more or less without history. After nine minutes the tulips were already ahead of two goals thanks to the skill of Braspenning able to throw the ball behind Rossi twice. When you start this way, then it becomes difficult to get back into the game. Samp fought but did not find that episode that could call into question the script seen so far. Sixty seconds after the interval Bonnah made three of a kind. Markelo scored it 4-0. Net as much as deserved victory. Super Ajax also out of the field. Players in these tournament days, in their free time, will study with their usual school teachers.

Montreal Impact-Atalanta 0-1

MONTREAL IMPACT: Assi, Binate, Bourassa, Catavolo, Eullaffroy, Ferdinand, Giraldo Ortiz, Hmida, Kane, Mayati, Spinola. A disp.: Banfi M., Banfi S., Bisson, Colici, Djellab, Joseph. All.: Serge Dinkota

ATALANTA: Sassi, Grassi, Toccafondi, Bonfanti, Giovane, Oliveri, Perego, Testa, Berto, De Nipoti, Rosa. A disp.: Rodegari, Scalvini, Ceresoli, Mehic D., Mehic A., Lozza, Moraschi. All.: Andrea Di Cintio

Goals: 21′ Rosa (A)

It was enough the minimum effort all’Atalanta to win the first three points of this edition 2018. The Bergamo have bent 1-0 the Montreal patron rossoblù Joey Saputo the first participation in the land of Bologna. A network of Rosa scored in the first half, has tipped the scales on the side of the Lombards. Disadvantaged, the Canadians have tried hard to equalize, but there was no way to do it. First victory atalantina and debut with empty hands for the Americans.

Among the 2018 novelties of “We Love Football” there is also the Montreal Impact

Among the 2018 novelties of “We Love Football” there is also the Montreal Impact.

The Canadian club lands for the first time under the Two Towers with its under 15 training in the hope of qualifying and crossing the Bologna in what would be a tantalizing derby: both companies, in fact, are owned by Joey Saputo, the man that in recent years has raised the fate of rossoblù.

At home, its Montreal Impact is now a consolidated reality. Since December 1992 – the year of its foundation – to date, the first Nerazzurri team has won an American Professional Soccer League (APSL), two second division championships and three Canadian Championships. As for the youth sector, in 2010 the Impact de Montréal founded its own Académie, whose teams train in the structures of the first team: the “Stade Saputo” and the “Caserne Létourneux”.

The debut at the international tournament under 15 “We Love Football” will see the Impact engaged in group D with Sampdoria, Ajax and Atalanta.

Bonne chance Montreal!

We are ready to start, we are waiting for you from March 28th to April 2nd in Bologna!

“We Love Football” turns pink with the women’s tournament

The third edition of the international tournament under 15, scheduled from March 28 to April 2, is enriched with a new all-Italian chapter: eight women’s youth teams will compete to contend for the title. And the “concentrated” formula of the competition promises show.

Eight female teams, all Italian, fighting for the title. This is one of the big news for the 2018 edition of “We Love Football”, an international youth tournament under 15 which returns to Bologna from 28 March to 2 April. The sporting event created by the former rossoblù flag Marco De Marchi, now at the third turning point, has in fact been enriched with a large number of “pink odds”, passing from the last three teams to last year’s eight-year tournament. ‘year. In addition to the 16 male professional formations arrived from all over the world (eight nations involved with the participation of some of the most prestigious international clubs), there will therefore be a large group of girls ready to fight on the field to show off their qualities and their great passion for football.

The women’s tournament, unlike the male one that will develop over six days during the Easter week, provides a “concentrated” formula that promises show. On March 29, starting at 12.00, the millennials of Bologna, Cesena, Inter, Rome, Udinese, Venezia Women and Verona will compete on the artificial grass pitches of the “Enrico Filippetti” sports center in Zola Predosa, giving life to twelve exciting matches . Divided into two groups of four, each team will play three races within a few hours: the first classified of each group will earn the pass for the final, scheduled for April 2 (at 9.30) at the “Renato Dall’Ara”. An award for these small champions of the future, who will probably be able to taste for the first time the emotion of playing in a real stadium.

Defending the 2017 title will be Bologna, once again led by Daniela Tavalazzi. But the task of the rossoblù, who last year dominated the triangular with Cesena and Sassuolo ending unbeaten with 20 goals scored and just 1 immediately, is anything but simple. “We Love football is a great opportunity – explains Daniela Tavalazzi, head of the Bologna women’s sector – because it allows our girls to show their worth in front of an international audience. Furthermore, playing in Bologna by representing the colors of my city is an extra stimulus, as is the fact that this year the tournament includes eight teams. Who knows, maybe in 2019 will also be Barcelona and Real Madrid, it would be nice to be able to compare with high-level world realities. We, however, this year we will try to say our own, it being understood that the objectives, in the youth field, are the growth and the formation of the girls “.
